Life's a Bummer!15/05/2016
The great question of suffering as it relates to our lives is not "If...?", but "When?" Everyone has suffered, is suffering, or will suffer. Suffering is inevitable. Yet, we worship and serve a God who is sovereign over all of life and ordains suffering ultimately for our good and his glory. Listen, as Pastor Bob continues the series The Character of Christians with a call to embrace the diveristy within the body and serve Christ and each other effectively in light of that diversity.
United In Essentials03/04/2016
The purity and preservation of the faith once for all delivered to the saints is of immense importance. Many well-meaning people, in their desire to defend the faith, often end up creating unnecessary division over non-essential matters. In terms of the essential tenets of the Christian faith (the Trinity, the deity of Christ, the personhood of the Holy Spirit, the inspiration and authority of Holy Scripture, etc) we must stand with bold conviction. Yet, in non-essential matters (mode of baptism, some matters of eschatology, Bible translation, worship style, etc) we must be charitable in our interactions with other followers of Christ. Listen, as Pastor Bob begins a new series on The Character of Christians, focusing on how we may walk in a manner worthy of our calling.
