This week on Mechinations, Ignis and pmc discuss The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I and II, two games in the long-running Nihon Falcom series. Ignis recently wrapped up Cold Steel II (including lots of excellent twitter commentary - go follow him!) and talks through his experiences in CS I and II with pmc, who has played the Trails in the Sky trilogy as well as the first three Cold Steel games. Together, they cover the games' cast from both narrative and gameplay perspectives and cap it off with a breakdown of how Cold Steel II fares in light of the spectacular ending sequence of the first Cold Steel.
