Synopsis
This book was written in 1912 by John Muir, the greatest naturalist of the twentieth century. This work is deals with Valei Yosemite, created by President Roosevelt who had been influenced by his writings . Muir fought for the preservation of the natural heritage of the United States . His ideas also came to be the basis of environmentalism and environmental ethic .
