Sopan Deb is a culture writer for The New York Times, writing about the intersection of politics and culture, among other topics. Before joining The Times, he covered Donald Trump's presidential campaign for CBS News from start to finish as a campaign embed. He covered hundreds of rallies in more than 40 states for a year and a half. He is also a New York City-based stand up comedian.  Jim David is a legendary New York City-based standup comedian. Aparna Nancherla is a prominent New York City-based standup comedian. Her new standup album, 'Just Putting it Out There,' is available for download on iTunes and Amazon. Rebecca Trent is the owner of the New York City comedy club Creek & the Cave. Danny Lobell is a Los Angeles-based standup comedian. Before he moved to Los Angeles, he hosted a podcast in New York City with Dan Naturman.

Brandyn Heppard is a PhD candidate at the New School for Social Research in New York City. He is the chair of the Humanities, Social Science, & Education department and an assistant professor of Philosophy at Raritan Valley Community College, where he also serves as the co-director of RVCC’s Women’s Center. He was recently selected as a NJ Public Scholar by the NJ Council for the Humanities for his work on the philosophy of comedy.

Nico is the director of communications at the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education and host of So to Speak: The Free Speech Podcast. Originally from the Chicagoland area, Nico lives and works in New York City. Ryan Reiss and Andrew Schulz are both New York City-based stand-up comedians. They can be seen regularly performing at the Comedy Cellar.

Jonathan Haidt is a scholar, author, and social psychologist. He has written two books, including "The Righteous Mind: Why Good People are Divided by Politics and Religion."  Andrew Schulz is a standup comedian and co-host of the podcast, "The Brilliant Idiots." He may be seen performing regularly at the Comedy Cellar. Paul Mecurio is a standup comedian and the host of the podcast, "The Paul Mecurio Show." He may be seen performing regularly at the Comedy Cellar.

The Legendary Wid is a renowned prop comic from Philadelphia. He recently performed at the Comedy Cellar for Dave Juskow's birthday bash, on a lineup that also included Dave Attell and Artie Lange. Keith Robinson and Mike Vecchione are prominent New York City-based standup comedians who may be seen performing regularly at the Comedy Cellar.

Rebecca Traister is a writer for New York Magazine, where she recently published a widely-read profile on Hillary Clinton. She is the author of the bestselling book, "All the Single Ladies." Joyelle Nicole and Andrew Schulz are prominent standup comedians who may be seen regularly performing at the Comedy Cellar.  

Charles Wojcik is an up and coming comedian based in New York City. Prior to comedy, Charles served five years in the United States Marine Corps as an intelligence analyst. Mike Finoia is a comedian and producer of the TV series "Impractical Jokers." He can be regularly seen performing at the Comedy Cellar. 

Hasan Minhaj is a standup comedian and contributor to The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. He may be seen performing regularly at the Comedy Cellar. Margaux Ewen is the Advocacy and Communications Director for Reporters Without Borders US. Dave Juskow is a standup comedian whose live shows -- including the upcoming 'Grease is the Word' -- may be seen regularly at the Comedy Cellar.

Ryan Hamilton is a prominent standup comedian who performs regularly at the Comedy Cellar. His new special, "Happy Face," is out on Netflix. Kat Timpf is an American television personality, reporter, and comedian living in New York City. She appears regularly as a panelist on Fox News. 

Bonnie McFarlane is a standup comedian and co-host of the popular podcast, "My Wife Hates Me." She may be seen performing regularly at the Comedy Cellar. Alingon Mitra is a standup comedian and frequent performer at the Comedy Cellar. Sheila Lintott is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Bucknell University. She was one of the conference organizers for "The Ethics and Aesthetics of Stand-Up Comedy," which aimed to bring together scholars and practitioners interested in stand-up comedy from a range of academic disciplines.

Lynn Koplitz is a prominent standup comedian who may be seen performing regularly at the Comedy Cellar. Her new standup special, "Hormonal Beast," is available on Netflix. Jessica Kirson is a prominent standup comedian who may be seen performing regularly at the Comedy Cellar. She may also be heard regularly on "The Howard Stern Show." Dr. Nancy Segal is a Professor of Psychology at California State University, Fullerton, and is the director of the Twin Studies center. She is the author of the new book "Twin Mythconceptions: False Beliefs, Fables, and Facts About Twins."

James Altucher is a former financier, hedge fund manager, and author of 18 books. A year and a half ago he threw out all his possessions and now lives in Airbnb's. Rebecca Trent is the owner of Creek & the Cave comedy club, located in the Long Island City section of Queens, New York.
