Episodes

  • Episode 47: Jamil & the Show

    25/01/2020 Duration: 54min

Jamil & the Show is a Cleveland based musician. He sings, raps, makes beats, produces, plays drums, and even sees music in colors! He was one of the happiest individuals I have met in a long time. A smile ear to ear the entire time he was here. He was kind enough to let me include a few of his songs in this episode so that more people can hear them. I think the music is great, but look forward to hearing your thoughts! 19/01/2020 Duration: 34min

  • Episode 43: Visq - Actor, Musician, and More

    11/11/2019 Duration: 01h19min

Visque first hit my radar when he responded to a post I made looking for music to review. He sent me his project, They Can't Stand Me and after giving it a few listens, checking out his social media, I knew I wanted to get him on the show. I like to get people who are not just one dimensional. Meaning, I don't want an expert on one niche topic and have them not be able to talk about anything else.  Deandre Bush, better known as Visq, is not one dimensional. He raps, acts, is a videographer, political activist, and much more.  We ended up talking for about two and a half hours on and off the camera because one thing just kept leading to another topic! Highlights of the show: We talk about getting people free money, His story of meeting and working with Nicholas Cage and William Dafoe. Learn about Andrew Yang Learn about music Local acting scene info. • Episode 38: Doug Mothersell "Metal Fabricator & Huskey breeder"

    13/09/2019 Duration: 01h02min

This is a bit of the footage from my visit to Up State New York to meet Doug Mothersell of Twisted Willow Fabrication. I thought I was going to learn about metal, see some cool tools but little did I know that Doug is also a sled dog pioneer! He showed us his custom dog cart and let us meet his pack!! Some of the sections of this interview may be a bit choppy for the audio listener but in general I think this is a great condensed version of our visit. There is some repeating in music, I used a TON of Jeremiah Craig music and the reason why will present itself in part two of this interview after the commercial! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/colins-conversations/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/colins-conversations/support

  • Episode 29: Josh Dobay " Owner of Josh Dobay Productions"

    11/07/2019 Duration: 01h22min

I had the opportunity to meet and interview Josh Dobay of Josh Dobay Productions. Josh appeared on my radar after my interview with Skuff Micksun. He worked on a video set with Skuff as well as they worked together on a spoken word video. Josh specializes in photography, videography, and content production. What I love most about those specializations is that he knew how to do none of them when he maxed out all of his credit cards to make a transition from the rat race back to a life of creativity. For a guy who grew up wanting to be a musician, working management in the hospitality industry as he said was “stealing his soul”, something that it does to most who are in it long enough. He couldn’t take it any more and and decided it was time to invest in himself and enroll in the school of Youtube. Armed with a bit of new gear and a shit load of passion, Josh literally lost it all in search for a life that would give him purpose and meaning. His fiancee left him after he left his secure job, he lost his home an
