Synopsis

November 19, 2006, also known as the day the Earth stood still, saw the release of S-tier console, the Nintendo Wii. Unbeknownst to most, the rise of the Nintendo Wii awoke an ancient sleeping monstrosity that had laid dormant in the games industry since the SNES era. That ancient monstrosity was a type of games called "Shovelware." For the uninitiated, shovelware is a term for games that were hastily developed to showcase quantity over quality. You probably rented at least one of these games accidentally from Giant Eagle, or were gifted one by an estranged family member for Christmas. Well today, we here at DT!HQ are going to turn shovelware games into AAA megahits! Kyle is here to talk about a racing game this week, but it's not the one you think.
