We are celebrating the Advent season by looking at the humility of a King who would leave His throne for a manger. Jesus could have come in glory for all to see, but instead He began His journey to our salvation in a way that would forever connect Him to the lowliness of our humanity. In today’s sermon, we begin by looking at Christ’s Kingship. He was a King before His incarnation and He has been anointed as the King of Kings, the fulfillment of each of the Old Testament offices, after His incarnation.
