The Radio Theatre was fondly inspired by the likes of: Suspense!, Mystery in the Air, and Mercury Theatre on the Air. The Phantom Airwaves follows two teenage girls, Ally and Libby Weaver, as their household radio shows signs of possession. The Phantom Airwaves was written with the intention of highlighting and discussing insecurities within characters. Each character has a strong insecurity that is exploited throughout the show.
