It seems like we've gotten to the point nowadays where it's almost dangerous to disagree with someone, especially online. Despite more access to information than ever before, people in general decide what they believe, find their 'tribe' and conclude everyone else is just straight-up wrong. If you find yourself on the other side of the opinion spectrum, you're at best excluded from the conversation, and at worst insulted or even 'canceled' altogether. As a result, more and more people are consorting only with like-minded folks and keeping quiet around everyone else. Obviously, this has created a deeply divisive social environment that tests the boundaries of free speech itself.
