Hendrik gets very real about his life. He talks about how painful it was to have a circumcision which went badly wrong, and not just the physcial pain which it casued but the real heart ache when the persons he really wanted to keep it privite told others about it.  Despite this he has went on to become a Patent Attorney.  He so cares about new inventions and does want persons to have proper legal protection so that they can fully realise their dreams and their invention reach its full potential.
