Former Army Major Rob Shenton served for over 20 years in theatres of combat including Afghanistan, Bosnia, Kosovo and Northern Ireland. Medically discharged in 2016 with depression and PTSD, Rob found running to be a way to deal with the mental health issues he lives with. He set about challenging himself to run the hottest, highest and coldest marathons on a three-part challenge that took him to the Sahara, up Everest, and to the North Pole.
