A weekly look at father involvement in education through the Watch D.O.G.S. program of the National Center for Fathering. Our guest this week is Janet Pozmantier, Outreach Educator with the Dibble Institute. Janet is a licensed professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, and play therapist.  She has worked in the area of primary prevention since 1982, first as the director of a child abuse prevention program for children, and for 20 years as the creator and developer of a nationally recognized, research-based, award-winning program teaching children and youth today the parenting skills they will need in the future.  She brought evidence-based teen relationship education programs to Houston and launched training and implementation throughout the region.  Janet currently serves as an outreach educator for a national non-profit (the Dibble Institute) and a consultant to several other non-profit organizations.  She is co-author of a book on early childhood development and was instrumental in establish
