The film was shown at several film festivals across the country and Barbie was recognized as Best Actress at the New York City International Film Festival, Buffalo Niagara Film Festival and FMPTA Crystal Reel Awards.     Her first full-length feature film, Assumed Killer was released in 2013 both internationally and in the US on Lifetime Television.  The film starred Barbie, Casper Van Dien, Armand Assante and Eric Roberts.    She has since gone on to produce and star in seven other films including the most recent, Girlfriend Killer, which will premiere on Lifetime this Sunday,
