It was 1977 and I was waiting for my mom in the car as she ran into Safeway to get something. The song Moody Blue came on. It sticks in my head because I am pretty sure the DJ said it was the first single since his death. Being 9 years old I tried understanding what was going on. All sorts of calculations and rationalizations were happening in my mind. It didn't matter in the end. I just loved the sound of his voice. Here is another one-take of a song for you. Moody Blue.
