Sharkey's Treehouse

Raising Hairs on the Arms of Chic and David Bowie Keyboardist Rob Sabino

Informações:

Synopsis

You may not know the name but there’s no doubt you know his music and iconic riffs. Rob Sabino has played keyboards on tour or in the studio with many of the biggest legends in pop music: Chic, Nile Rogers, Mick Jagger, Bryan Adams, Simon and Garfunkel, Peter Frampton, Ace Frehley, Madonna, Jeff Beck, David Bowie and many, many more. And despite all the success and all the killer moments over his incredible career there were only two that got the hair on his arms to stand up. Rob talks about those, and how growing up in the Bronx led to his invaluable friendship with Nile Rogers, his recording sessions with David Bowie, and how he got another one of his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame friends to join him in his music class as a guest speaker.   Be sure to go to Sharkey's Treehouse to watch the video of this podcast. There, you'll also find exclusive photographs of Rob's performance and originals from his own collection.   Link   See Rob's performance with his side band Ain't Got No Time Rock and Blues Band
