'Mukhya Mantri' Chandru, who earned the honorific title of 'Mukhya Mantri' from the character he played in the stage play of the same name, has been donning the same role for over 30 years now. His troupe Kalagangotri is touring New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. In Sydney his troupe would be performing their 607th stage show, a record.
