So my guest today is someone who I found through another podcast interview and her story really resonated with me. Her name is Emily McCarthy and she’s a former CIA case officer, spending time in war-torn Africa post 9/11 and following her time with the U.S. Government, she co-founded GORUCK, which is an American brand with roots in intelligence and special forces and runs unique challenges and events all over the world. But it wasn't this background that prompted me to reach out to her, rather it was the stories she shared about her relationship with her father, that really moved me.
