Thur June 16, 2011 Mister Ron's Basement No. 1949 We have discovered some odd, almost forgotten Stephen Leacock pieces this week! In the late 1890s, a series of expeditions were formed to find the North Pole, all of which resulted in failure. Leacock predicts the outcomes of these expeditions in ‘The North Pole Calendar (for the Next Nine Years)’ from 1897.
