If you are a real estate agent and the thought of promoting yourself makes you cringe, you have made a serious vocational error. No matter how skilled you are, if no one knows about it, you are not going to get any business. My coach Tom refers to agents trying to be low key as “Secret Agents.” You do not need to go to extremes and be Kim Kardashian. You don’t need to be a social media butterfly and post the tuna sandwich you are having for lunch. You do need a plan and a strategy for reaching out to your sphere of influence and at the very least a niche segment of the market you want to attract.
