Although she was born in the United States, Jodi Reynhout’s family moved to Venezuela for the majority of her childhood, returning to the U.S. when she was 16 years old. With a bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Wharton School, Jodi now serves as the Vice President of Administration at Esperanza, a faith-based non-profit organization whose aim is to strengthen Hispanic communities through education, economic development, and advocacy. In this episode, Jodi shares how her upbringing allowed her to have a better insight into the lives of people with financial constraints and why she has taken her career in the direction of a non-profit organization.
