Talking Baseball With Ed Randall

While many among the baseball world were focused on the trades and deals being made at the 2016 Winter Meetings, baseball journalist Claire Smith was announced as the winner of the 68th J.G. Taylor Spink Award. The highest honor for a baseball journalist, Smith will be the first female recipient of the award and will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame this upcoming summer in Cooperstown. Talkin' Baseball's Ed Randall talks with Claire about her journey that led her to receiving this honor, despite all the adversity she had to overcome in her professional career.
