When my wife and I moved to Colorado in 2004 we were lost. Newly married, new town, new state, new job, new friends, new ... everything. So I approached a mutual friend of mine who was a few years older and took him to lunch. That mentorship lasted years and help save me a lot of pain in my 20s.
