Interest rates - in order to off set inflation - that is the reason right? Interest rates have been historically low for a long while. I remember when I bought my first home the interest rate was 16% - to see them sub three and to have that now, incredible. So when I watch as they start to rise, I know that most are very uncomfortable with that happening.
