Emmy award-winning sportscaster Neil Hartman was named Director of Rowan University’s Center for Sports Communication & Social Impact in August 2019. His responsibilities include mentoring students, procuring internships, guiding careers and engaging students with sports industry professionals on campus.Hartman spent nearly two decades as the main anchor for Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia. He also worked for Philadelphia television stations CBS3 and WPHL-TV as a sports anchor and earned four Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards and was named Pennsylvania Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association for his television work. Among his radio accomplishments was “Best of Philly” sports talk-show host by Philadelphia Magazine while working for WPHT-AM.
