We are celebrating the Advent this Christmas season. Advent celebrates the coming of Christ Jesus from three perspectives: coming as a baby, coming into our hearts, coming again to establish His eternal Kingdom. Today, week three of the advent looks at joy as we light the Shepherd’s Candle. Jesus is the source of our joy. Meditating on His first and second Advent can restore our joy and make it full this holiday season.
