Synopsis
Frantic and facing eviction, Marisa Jamison is devastated when she loses her job at a restaurant. Discouraged and losing hope, she gets a job interview with cocky billionaire lawyer, Jeffrey Bradley.
During the interview, Jeffrey seems arrogant and full of himself, but for some reason, she's wildly attracted to him. Miraculously, she gets the job, and while she's grateful that she'll have enough money for her bills, she won't get a paycheck for 2 weeks.
She asks Jeffrey if he can advance her some cash so that she can pay her rent, but he turns her down. He says his company has "rules," about things like this.
Could these "rules" have something to do with his new obsession with Marisa or is hiding a shocking secret that could turn their worlds upside down?
