James Bond Radio: 007 News, Reviews & Interviews!

We're concluding our coverage of the supporting characters from the world of Bond this week. Last time we covered everyone from Dr. No through to For Your Eyes Only and today we're completing the set all the way up to Skyfall.  We'll be talking Vijay, Sir Godfrey Tibbet and Saunders through to Sharkey, Jack Wade and Kincade.

Wow...what an amazing trailer! Yes indeed, it's time for another emergency SPECTRE special report where Tom goes frame by frame through yesterday's SPECTRE trailer for some in depth analysis.  Obviously it goes without saying, if you're trying to remain spoiler free, don't listen to this :-)

We're back with the very first MI6 Mailbag episode! In light of his recent passing on June 7th, we thought it was a good moment for James Bond Radio to pay tribute to everyone's favourite golden gun toting hitman, Christopher Lee.  We'll be taking a look at his unbelievably amazing life...believe us when we tell you, this guy packed more into his first 25 years than most of us do in a lifetime.  We'll be picking our favourite Scaramanga moments and generally paying tribute to the legend of Christopher Lee.

We have a veteran Bond crew member on today’s edition of James Bond Radio; Mr. Terry Bamber. We talk about his fascinating history with Bond from his Dad (Dickie Bamber) working on the first 4 Bond films as a prop man, to Terry’s first day on the job as a runner on The Man With The Golden Gun, to his work on Skyfall. Not only is Terry a goldmine of entertaining stories from the world of 007, he’s genuinely a huge Bond fan too. You’ll hear stories about what happened when Terry delivered a plate of sandwiches to Sir Roger Moore’s dressing room, to on set antics with Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. It's time for a freshen up at James Bond Radio! After 40 episodes we thought it was high time to mix things up a little bit, so James Bond Radio has a very special announcement for you in today's episode. We'll be messing with the format a little bit by running a regular "Bond News" episode, an "Mi6 Mailbag" episode where we respond to all the listener messages, special "Spotlight" episodes where we go deep on very specific areas of Bond and of course we'll be continuing with the usual round of interviews, film reviews and discussion. James Bond Radio is back with the first of a two parter looking at the world of collecting 007. This week we're talking to Zaritsky, David Zaritsky, who you'll have most probably seen on youtube or his website TheBondExperience.com talking about the clothes of Bond and showing off his awesome basement that's stuffed to the rafters with Bond memorabilia. This film does tend to divide opinion among Bond fans, with some hailing it as a classic and some calling it Roger's weakest. What will be the JBR verdict? Tune in to find out!
