Born with a hole in her spine caused by spina bifida, Tatyana McFadden spent the first six years of her life in a Russian orphanage with virtually nothing, not even a wheelchair. Paralyzed from the waist down, and with no other way to move, she learned to walk on her hands simply to keep up with the other children. She attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City for undergrad where she was a 5-time All American. She transferred to the University of New Mexico for graduate school and competed her fifth year of eligibility for the Lobos where she would lead the team to a NCAA Cross Country Championship title with a fourth place finish and win the NCAA title in the 3k steeplechaise in a collegiate record. She currently trains in Portland, OR with the Nike Bowerman Track Club, coach by Jerry Schumacher. She was a member of the 2016 Olympic team, silver medalist in the 3k steeplechase at the 2017 IAAF World Outdoor Championships, and holds the American Record in the 3k steeplechase.

She finished second at the 2010 NYC marathon and ran the fastest time ever by an American woman at the 2014 Boston Marathon, completing the race in 2:22.02. At the 2014 Berlin Marathon, Shalane ran a personal best of 2:21.14, the second-fastest time ever by an American woman. She won the NYC Marathon in 2017, in 2:26:53. Corey Koskie Corey is a Canadian-born third baseman, who played professionally for the Minnesota Twins (1998-2004), Toronto Blue Jays (2005), and Milwaukee Brewers (2006). After retiring from baseball, he became a Planet Fitness franchisee (2010-2016). Corey was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2015.  He is the founder of the website Linklete, which serves to connect people through their shared experiences in sports. She won a silver medal in the 10,000m at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. She competed in the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics 10,000m final where she placed 10th, and the 5000m where she placed 9th. Kara made her marathon debut at the ING New York City Marathon in 2008. She finished in third place, becoming the first American on the podium since 1994. In 2012, Kara won the USA Half Marathon Championships and competed in the London Olympics in the Marathon, placing 11th. Shelby Houlihan Shelby grew up in Sioux City, Iowa and went to Arizona State University where she was a national champion in the 1500m and a 12-time All-American. After graduation, she began running for Nike and the Bowerman Track Club in 2015. She was a 2016 Olympian in the 5000m, finishing 11th in the final and claiming the title of first American. Shelby is a 5-time National Champion and was part of the 2017 World Championship team and the 2018 indoor team.
