If you've been watching every Packers game this season, you probably don't feel like you've been watching a playoff team. Even in their wins, they haven't looked overly impressive... The Packers haven't faced the toughest opponents the past 3 weeks, but the progress the offense is making can't be denied.So what exactly did "shake things up" mean when a frustrated LaFleur dropped that in a press conference before the Rams game? We will probably never find out, because teams don't (and shouldn't) let that kind of stuff out of the building. For the average observer, even former players and coaches that are no longer in the building, it can be very difficult to know what SHOULD be happening with the Packers week-to-week.We can critique the results of what we see on the field, but we don't always know what the design actually was. A player may do something that looks like a mistake to the average observer, but that assignment was actually by design.
