We see this morning that God offers us a new beginning, but this new beginning comes at a price. It is marked by humility, repentance and devotion.

There are Biblical instructions on prayer that ensure that our praying is honoring to God.

The Bible teaches that prayer does indeed make a difference, because God hears our prayers.

As we look today at our text in Isaiah 55, we see that opportunity is certainly the key thought. If opportunity is important in the physical realm, it is even more important in the spiritual realm.

Is it your desire to be an approved workman for God? More than anything else in life, do you desire for your life to be an honorable vessel to the Lord? What are the requirements for being an approved workman?

God's people in a land have much to say about God's blessing on that particular land. What we do has a definite bearing on what God does.

In Psalm 147 we are reminded of the great power of God. But at the same time God is gentle. We'll see God's power displayed in so many ways, but especially we'll see how God takes a human heart and does what only He can do.

Today we will look at the life of Moses and how God changed and altered the course of his history forever. God's agenda was much bigger than anything he could ever imagine.

We are to immerse ourselves in righteousness and the will of God. Live a life of accountability.

These are dangerous times in which we live. It's not going to get any better in this world before Jesus returns. But we have a great and sure hope as believers.

We are soldiers of the cross. Our mission needs to be close to our hearts, that Christ has charged us with the Great Commission.

This text shows that the call to follow Christ is a challenging call.. It is not for the faint of heart. What we will learn today is the type of people Jesus is calling us to be.

This morning we look at the tremendous value of one mother out of the Old Testament. Hannah influenced her family, her son, and even her nation. What we see is the influence that a godly mother can have.
