"Angry Love" (The Grit of Jesus in the Face of Death)
30/10/2016 Duration: 32minHaving reached the turning point in John last week when "many disciples no longer followed Jesus" after his hard sayings, Jesus would now garner much attention after raising Lazarus from the dead. This attention will hasten "the hour of the son of man", which is the death of the Christ. Tonight, Jesus models ministering to different individuals (Mary and Martha) with Truth and with Tears, while also demonstrating his command and authority over death itself, proving himself determined to resolve the misery that Sin has brought upon humanity.
