16/Sept/2018: (Apologies for the poor recording) Jenny Buckler speaks from Mark 1.1-8 on God's call to greater intimacy through repentance: 'John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him'.

09/Sept/2018: Mary Udale-Smith speaks from John 1.1-14 on God sending Jesus, so that the world can have a relationship with Him: 'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind'

22/July/2018: Jenny Buckler speaks from Acts 9.31 on the church being built up by the Lord: 'Meanwhile the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and was built up. Living in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers.'

08/July/2018: Julie Campbell speaks from Matthew 16:13-19 on Jesus building his church. Jesus said in Matt 16:18: ‘I will build my church’: > ‘I’ - Live in the truth of who God is, revealed in God's names in the Bible. > ‘WILL’ - His entire will, the force of His being is to build His church. > ‘BUILD’ - He builds His church numerically, and also He builds up each person in the church. > ‘MY’ - The Church belongs to Jesus. > ‘CHURCH’ - We are the called out ones.

17/June/2018: Paul Wakely speaks on Self Control, from 2 Tim 1.1-7 'For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline'.

10/Jun/2018: Tim Buckley spoke on 'running the race' before us. Hebrews 12.1-2 'let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith'.

03/Jun/2018: (Sorry for the poor sound quality). Miles Andrews and Tim Buckley speak on Gentleness, from 2 Tim 3.14-26. Miles looks at three aspects of gentleness - gentleness in our relationship with one another, gentleness in our relationship with God, and gentleness in God’s relationship with us.

27/May/2018: Paul Alkazraji, a Bath Uni and St Matts alumni, now working in Eastern Europe, speaks on Faithfulness, from 1 Peter 3.14-17 'But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened". But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect'.

29/April/2018: Paul Wakely speaks on Peace - the Fruit of the Spirit. Numbers 6.24-26: 'The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face towards you and give you peace.'

22/April/2018: Tim Buckley speaks on Joy - the Fruit of the Spirit. Romans 15.13: 'May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.'

15/April/2018: Tim Buckley speaks from I Cor 13.1-8 on Love - the Fruit of the Spirit: 'Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.'

18/Feb/2018: Jenny Sanders speaks from Judges 6 and from Phil 3.7-11 on 'keep on keeping on - endurance in the battle!'. "that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death ..."

11/Feb/2018: Paul Wakely speaks from Judges 6 (Gideon) on Heaven's calling for us to 'do battle' and not to be passive. 2 Cor 10.4-6 'The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.'
