02/02/2020 - Jenny Buckler speaks on being a child of God - not a slave to the world. God's invitation to follow Jesus - to be transformed into His likeness. Jenny spoke from Gal 4.4-7 'when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.'

26/Jan/2020: Mary and Andrew Udale-Smith look at the 'Hot Potato' of Money from Matt 6.1-4': Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.'

19/Jan/2020: Paul Wakely continues this series of talks on 20-20 Vision - Who am I? looking at our identify in Christ: 'Justified forever - never again condemned’. 1 Cor 1.18. ‘To us who are being saved [the message of the cross] is the power of God’.

12/Jan/2020: Tim Buckley introduces a new series on 20-20 Vision - Who am I? Seeing our full identity in Christ. We are each on a journey to become fully the unique person He has made us to be. Galatians 5:1 - ‘It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.’

Jenny Buckler speaks from 2 Peter 1.1-10 encouraging us each to make time to tune in afresh to what God is saying to each of us for the the year ahead - perhaps to change gear up, or to change gear down.

A dream of Church beyond Sunday services, to where those in Church are equipped to fulfil their calling to bring His Kingdom to bless the world; where the Church family is a welcoming place of healing and hope.

Mark and Debbie look at various scriptures on the theme of 'one another'. Also, a St Matt's mission team describe their recent trip to Sri Lanka, visiting churches and individuals that St Matt's partners with 5,000 miles away.

20/Oct/2019: Tim Buckley continues the series looking at the first 'foundation stone' of St Matt's - being Worship Centred. Tim takes WORSHIP as an acrostic: Worthy (Rev 5:12), Offering (Heb 13:15), Real (John 4:24), Surrender (Romans 12:1 and 2 Sam 6:22), Heartfelt (Is 29:13), Intimate (Ps 91:1), Prophetic (Luke 7:36- 38).

21/July/2019: Tim Buckley speaks on two of the values of St Matt's: Worship Centred and Holy Spirit Encounters, from Exodus 33.12-19: 'Then Moses said to the LORD, ‘If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?’ And the Lord said to Moses, ‘I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.’ Then Moses said, ‘Now show me your glory.’ And the Lord said, ‘I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence.
