(Romans 1:18-2:13) Tonight Gavin is unpacking a portion of the book of Romans that would have been shocking to the Jewish believers listening to this letter being read out in first century Rome, and something that can be quite shocking for believers today. This passage is one that has often been weaponised by believers in ways that are not part of Paul's original intent. Join us as Gavin shares what this passage is about and challenges us to check our own hearts and the way we view others around us.

(Mark 1:9-13) This week we continue our our series on the Gospel of Mark with the idea that this is a new kingdom and a new king has arrived. There is a new way of doing things, and that requires a proclamation - a way to tell others of the Good News. As Gavin unpacks Jesus' baptism we are challenged that our faith needs to be more than a subtle faith, but instead something that is public.

(Romans 1:8-17) In the second week of our series looking at some of the deep truths to hold onto that are found in the book of Romans, Megan takes the time to unpack Paul's longing to visit Rome, and the fact that this opportunity had not yet come to pass. Here was Paul feeling torn about what he desired to do for God, and the situations that he found himself in. Perhaps this is the way that you are feeling today as well? There is a gap between what you want to be doing, and the situation you are in currently. In this message Megan unpacks how we can still do things where we are, while we wait for our situations to change.

This series will explore practical exercises that we can add into our days and weeks to help intentionally pay attention to the things that matter in our lives. To create spaces that allow God to move and to go deeper in our faiths. Today we are looking at 2 disciplines that pair well together. Silence and Solitude. Join us as Iain unpacks what these disciplines are; why we do them and how we can start implementing them in our lives.

(Genesis 32:22-32) As we approach a new year it is often a time when people want to make changes. However, we also often want to run away from things that seem too big or too hard to deal with. God wants to set us free from the things of our pasts and to redeem them. Today, Iain unpacks the story of Jacob wrestling with God and the invitation we have to wrestle with God in order to break free from the hurts, failures and pains of our past to allow God to redeem them.

This Christmas Gavin takes the opportunity to unpack the Christmas story in a different light. Rather than the lovely sanitised scenes we see on Christmas cards, we are given a picture of Christmas as a very inconvenient time for the people who lived it. With this is an important reminder that God will regularly use those things that seem inconvenient to us, to bless us.
