The Vanished Podcast

On August 27, 2014, six-week old Delano Wilson vanished from Indianapolis, Indiana. His father called 911 and told a story of how he was robbed at gun-point and the perpetrators took off with Delano. Extensive searches were conducted but no trace of Delano has ever been found.

Adam Kellner was last seen on November 8, 2007 in his home in Stevenson Ranch, California. Adam had been diagnosed with schizophrenia years earlier when he was in college. At the time of his disappearance, he was living with his mother, Sherrill Britton, and his stepfather. He lived a very isolated life and rarely left home. He simply vanished and no trace of Adam has ever been found.

Twenty-four year old, Noah Davis, vanished from Ringgold, Georgia in July of 2014. In this second installment, Josh and I discussed his interactions with law enforcement and his own search for Noah. This episode also features Noah's mother, Janice.

I interviewed his brother, Joshua Wright, for the show. He has gone to great lengths to find Noah despite a strained relationship with the Catoosa County Sheriff's Department.

Paul Baker disappeared from his home in Beaufort, South Carolina on March 5, 1987. I interviewed his sister, Nina Hernandez, for the show. She was just 6 years old when Paul went missing. She was removed from the home after Paul disappeared because she was a victim of abuse at the hands of her stepmother, Susan Baker. Susan Baker is currently serving a 25 year sentence in Florida for the abduction of 7 month old Shannon Dedrick.

David Waggoner was just 23 years old when he disappeared from Pasadena, Texas. I spoke with his sister, Diana, who has never given up the search for her brother. Some of the suspects include Sheriff "Humpy" Parker and the notorious serial killer, Dean Corll aka "The Candy Man." This episode also features Phil from History Personified.

Deborah Bradley put her 10 month-old daughter to bed in their Kansas City, Missouri home on October 3, 2011. When her husband came home in the early morning hours of the 4th, he noticed that the door was unlocked and a window appeared to be tampered with. When he got inside, he found that Lisa was missing from her crib. Justin Evans from The Generation Why Podcast helped me sort through all of the bizarre facts in the case.

Evelyn Hartley was only 15 years old when she disappeared while babysitting. When her father came to check up on her, he found all of the doors locked and an open basement window. Vilet Torrez was a 38 year old, loving mother of three who had recently left a volatile relationship. She was last seen by a surveillance camera at the entrance to her gated community in Miramar, Florida at 5:17AM on March 31, 2012.  UPDATE- Since the episode aired, Cid Torrez has been convicted of murdering Vilet and was sentenced to life in prison.Special thanks to: NBC Miami 

On March 25, 1975, Katherine and Sheila Lyon walked to a shopping mall to look at Easter exhibits and eat lunch. They were last seen on the route home that afternoon. Update- In 2017, Lloyd Lee Welch pleaded guilty to the kidnapping and murder of Katherine and Sheila Lyon. He was sentenced to 48 years in prison.

Eight women disappeared without a trace from the eastern part of Ireland between 1993 and 1998.  Authorities have gone to great lengths to solve these cases but have not had any luck finding evidence.  In Part 2, I discuss some unsolved murders and potential suspects. On November 25, 1991, Mark Himebaugh vanished from his neighborhood. A massive search ensued but only one of his shoes was ever found. This heart wrenching case involves many scary suspects and a lot of unanswered questions.
