This week, in Alvo, Nebraska, when a home is found, engulfed in flames, everyone thinks that the couple who lived there must be burned to cinders. But when only one of them is found, wrapped in a blanket, and mutilated, beyond reason, a search is on for an answer. The answer isn't very difficult to find because the killer fully admits to what he's done, but has a very unique excuse, involving the devil, strangely placed imaginary babies, and keeping certain parts of the victim because "they would have wanted him to have it"! This week, in Framingham, Massachusetts, an upstanding, successful suburban couple appear to have it all. Great jobs, money in the bank, and a beautiful home, in a safe, leafy neighborhood. They appear to be on top of the world, until one night, the combination of burnt baked ziti, and an apparent invasion of body swapping enemy space alien vampires, who need to be thwarted, cause chaos to reign in this otherwise serene home. The murder is unimaginably horrible, giving even the investigators nightmares, for years to come. This week, in Shawnee Township, Ohio, a strange relationship exists between two older brothers, who live together, and seem to have an ongoing feud. One has a history of arrests for violence, and the other has a history of being hospitalized for mental illness. Perhaps inevitably, this ends in a most horrific, and violent murder, leaving one of the brothers full of holes, with a rope around his wrist, and a remote control trapped underneath him. The offending brother has a seriously weird story to tell police, as he tries to justify his actions. No one, except either her stepfather, or maybe two hillbillies, living in a makeshift shack, with crude drawings of dead girls, and women made out of electrical tape. Things quickly unravel, when ripped up pieces of paper are reconstructed by detectives to reveal a diary that uncovers a sick & twisted relationship that could have led to this. When the pair disappear of the face of the earth, police have no clue what happened to them, until a tale of a set of brothers who terrorize the local people, and threaten to feed them to the pigs. Not to mention the unnavigable maze of their family tree, where everyone is married to everyone, and they all seem to be cousins! His new, young bride thinks that her ex-husband must be the killer, but it turns out, she's been shacking up with a local insane man, who works with her, as a nurse's aide, but claims to be a doctor, lawyer, fighter pilot, and CIA agent, as well. He also claims that jail is controlling his thoughts, with a large machine, and writes letters to everyone, including the President of the US to try to get some relief. Will they execute a man, who is so clearly nuts? The reality sets in that he wasn't killed by accident, and there are many suspects. Was it an enemy of his brother & a simple case of mistaken identity? Or maybe one of the husbands of the many married women he was fooling around with, or a family member of one of the teenage girls he was dating?
