IS A CONVENTION OF STATES THE ANSWER? A Convention of States can be called when there is a need to make some changes to the Constitution by the people. An Article V Convention as it's called has never happened in the US and many people don't know that The People can demand changes that Congress will not make. The largest push for an Article V convention has been pushed forward by a group that wants a convention to address the following:calling of a convention of the states limited to proposing amendments to the Constitution of the United States that impose fi scal restraints on the federal government, limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, and limit the terms of o ce for its o cials and for members of Congress.Seems simple enough and we know Congress will never impose those limits on themselves. Find out about them here and join the rally to get this passed in Colorado on the West Steps of the Capitol on April 25th. WHAT NOW THAT IRAN ATTACKED ISRAEL? I've got Cliff May from the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies on at 12:30 to talk about this weekend attacks by Iran against Israel. What will Israel do in response? They have said they will "exact a price" from Iran, but apparently will do so without American help as Biden has said he will not support Israel if they issue a retaliatory strike. I'm Interested to see what Cliff says about this, as the Iranian people are celebrating in the streets over an attack that did almost no damage and hurt a couple of people and a child.

JEWISH STUDENTS SAY NO TO THEIR ANTI-SEMITIC UNION At MIT. The graduate students are forced to join the MIT Graduate Students Union as part of their matriculation at MIT. Unfortunately the union has taken numerous anti-Semitic positions and these Jewish students don't want to give money to an organization that hates them so they are suing to stop giving the union dues. I've got National Right to Work Foundation President Mark Mix on the Foundation’s federal case to protect these students’ religious freedom at 1 to discuss.

RICH GUGGENHEIM'S SPEECH WAS SILENCED AT THE CAPITOL And he's not taking this lying down. The head of the Gays Against Groomers Colorado chapter was gaveled out while making comments on a bill that would allow a convicted felon to change his name because he decided he was a woman and that is not allowed. Rich has filed a lawsuit which you can read about here, and he joins me at 12:30 today to discuss.

THE BLONDE BOMBERS ARE READY TO RACE! This year in honor of World Pilots’ Day (4/26), aviation-themed brewery FlyteCo Tower and Denver’s Blonde Bombers all-women flying team are joining forces to raise funds for Alaina Bravo with Blonde Bombers and FlyteCo Founder and pilot Eric Serani! In 2019, two pilots decided to get grounded and open FlyteCo Brewing, followed by their second location in a defunct airport tower. They support a TON of initiatives that work to create a better, more equitable aviation industry, including many scholarships to those who are low income, women, those moving from military life to commercial pilot life, and others that are underrepresented in the pilot industry to receive their pricey pilot license. THE MASTER'S APPRENTICE IS HELPING KIDS GET INTO CONSTRUCTION The Master's Apprentice, which recently received nearly $1 million from the Lowe's Foundation, is on today. That very generous grant to help disadvantaged young adults find a career in the construction trades is helping the program grow. The organization was founded by Coloradans Luis Villarreal and Scott Flores more than a decade ago. There is an acute skilled trades workforce crisis in the US, with the Associated Builders and Contractors estimating that 501,000 new skilled tradespeople will be needed on top of the normal pace of hiring to meet demand this year alone.
