    Jennifer L. Place is the author of "Building 51," a fictional book about a group of friends that explore the abandoned Hudson River State Hospital for the Insane. The building has a dark history of murders and suicides. It's a real place in Poughkeepsie where horrific and barbaric procedures were performed to "treat" patients with mental illnesses.     Adam Patane co-hosts the very funny, Poughkeepsie-based Dead Radio Podcast. Patane is also one of the brains behind the upcoming H.V. Creator Fest (May 12, 2018 at 46 Raymond Ave. in Poughkeepsie). The event, organized by Dead Radio Podcast, features creative vendors, music, food, booze, etc. H.V. Creator Fest supports Heroic Food, a local non-profit organization that helps veterans learn sustainable farming.     Mark Gamma is an actor, writer, producer, and founder of the Newburgh Actors Studio. He's worked as Robin Williams' double, was a field producer for the documentary "The Newburgh Sting," and wrote and appeared in "America, America," among a long list of other credits. Gamma is both the vocalist and drummer for the rock band Doctor Magkneetoe Medicine Show.     Dissolve is revered as one of the most electrifying and unique bands to emerge from the Poughkeepsie area. The band describes their sound as "elements of death-metal, black-metal, hardcore, stoner-rock, grind, punk, and progressive-metal (that) unite to form a beautifully brutal whole."  Dissolve released an EP called "Sasquatch" last year, and are currently working on new material.     Barbara Galazzo is a fused glass artist and curator/director of Gallery 66 in Cold Spring. Originally from New Orleans, Galazzo's work has been featured in major galleries, museums and commercial installations. She also created ArtFull Living Designer Show House, a 12-room designer show house in Cold Spring that is the work of 35 artists and seven interior designers, and Cold Spring Arts Open Studios Tour.
