When you think about it, comic books and pro-wrestling aren't so different. To further explain why is today's special guest Pat McDermott, the host of the Club Kayfabe podcast. Together, he and Adrian cover a plethora of topics including CM Punk's transition from wrestler to comic book writer, Brock Lesnar as the real-life Incredible Hulk, the hilarity/awfulness of the G.I. Nothing puts a damper on podcasting like an injury, but I shall press on in the form of a brand-new minisode! Since everyone else has been reviewing Daredevil (that and I'm waiting until I can book a fun guest for that) I've decided to talk about how the series' success could affect future comic book TV shows. Additionally, I also get into the spoilers found in the absurd press junket for Avengers Age of Ultron, "dark" storytelling and ask an age-old question: why are Batman and Superman so angry?

In the commotion of podcasting and real life I have unearthed the second installment of my "minisodes" recorded back in March that was never posted. Whoops! In this episode I explain my love of the X-Men franchise and how I feel like the core books have strayed a bit too far from its original mission statement. Since we're on the eve of the release of the Daredevil series on Netflix I get into more thoughts on a "grittier" Marvel universe. Enjoy!

It's time to lace up those skates once again! Ashley Burgy and Erica Ritter return for another episode filled with hockey talk---at least that was the plan before Adrian decided to spike his own bottles of Mountain Dew Code Red with Fireball whiskey. In between debates about the NHL playoffs, the episode takes several wacky left turns as the three hosts fall down a rabbit hole complete with conversations about Gatorade, Murderpedia and Animorphs. Plus, Ashley & Erica discover that Adrian knows way too much about the Power Rangers.

In what can be considered a "sequel" of sorts to Episode 3, today's episode features Miguel Garza, the co-host of Comical Podcast. Miguel delves deeper into the bizarre origins of his alter-ego, "Lord Horseticleze," outlines his plans for the "Shovel My Shit Tour 2015" and sets Adrian straight after the latter breaks several "bathroom commandments." Justin Corbett makes an impromptu return to the show, occasionally dropping in to dispense a few nuggets of geeky wisdom! Our three heroes discuss Joker's possible immortality, Michelle Rodriguez's struggles with foot-in-mouth disease, Spider-Ham and more!

On today's episode, Adrian catches up with Victor Dandridge Jr., the creator and editor-in-chief of the imprint Vantage Inhouse Productions, which began at Special Edition: NYC thanks largely in part to the comic series Southern Bastards. What follows is Victor's personal account of his experiences in the world of self-publishing and the origins of VIP. from conception to marketing and his partnership with Wizard World. Frank explains the dark origins of his supernatural comic book series Regenesys and the two reminisce about the sacred institution that was Saturday morning cartoons. Before closing out the episode our heroes get geeky about their mutual love for the hardcore band Bury Your Dead.

Fellow podcaster Justin Corbett, the co-host of the Comical Podcast, joins Adrian's personal "Battleworld" to give some personal insight into Marvel's massive 2015 crossover event and time-travel as a plot device. Justin gives his thoughts regarding the ongoing debate of digital books vs. "floppies" and Adrian inquires about the legend of :"Lord Horseticleze."

As you've no doubt heard, Sony and Marvel Studios are working out visitation rights for their web-slinging baby.
