Episodes

  • Episode 5: Sheraz Yousaf

    03/09/2017 Duration: 01h33min

LISTEN TO THIS IS IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO ACT IN A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE! Ah, friendship. My good friend Sheraz Yousef is called up to save me from the podcasting doldrums. After the last episode I was over the medium. No fun, my babe, no fun. Sheraz came down for a one to one between friends. In the process we realize that he has been pretty busy as of late including acting in a major motion picture. We talk about what it's like to be part of such a huge production. Also I probe something that has always fascinated me about him. Namely, his ability to get things done. Including his recent endeavor to hire an entire film crew to shoot his own short film.

  • Episode 4: Will Franken

    03/09/2017 Duration: 01h57min

LISTEN TO THIS IF YOU WANT TO HEAR A BRIDGE BURNED LIVE ON AIR! Will Franken has always fascinated me. Some might say he's best enjoyed from a distance. In this episode I get right in there. We talk about what pisses him off in comedy, how he believes we are in the midst of a war, and the reason he has gone back to being Will full time as opposed to 'Sarah'. Then we get in an argument, I shut the podcast off, and walk out. We haven't spoken since. Enjoy!

  • Episode 3: Terry Alderton

    03/09/2017 Duration: 52min

LISTEN TO THIS IF YOU WANT TO LOSE THE FEAR OF DEATH (ON STAGE)! Terry Alderton spares time for me in a bar that resembles a shed at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland. Terry is a fearless and original stand up comic. His inventiveness never ceases to blow me away. Known to comics as a guy who is truly unpredictable, Terry explains to me how exactly he came to be so fearless on stage.

  • Episode 2: Tony Law

    03/09/2017 Duration: 01h10min

LISTEN TO THIS IF YOU LIKE YOUR PODCASTS SILLY Tony Law doesn't care much for getting serious. We grapple for a second with my to heaven interview style out the gate. Then we get enough of it out of the way to just be stupid. Also, we can't help but touch on the fact that I was present on the very last night Tony Law got drunk. Although we are all glad Tony is completely clear headed these days; I admit to him that the experience was one of the funniest things i have ever seen in my life. I was happy to get a front row seat to the rebirth of LAW! Then we decide we should both be in a movie. Someone out there make that happen.

  • Episode 1: Rick Right

    03/09/2017 Duration: 01h58min

LISTEN TO THIS IF YOU LIKE STORIES ABOUT STAND UP COMEDY IN HOLLYWOOD FROM THE 1970'S AND BEYOND! Rick Right is the reason I started this podcast. After speaking to him one night in a pub after a show at the King's Head, I realized someone like this needed a platform to get their stories out. Rick is like the Forest Gump of comedy. He has been on the periphery of some of the most iconic eras in stand up history. We talk about opening for Robin Williams on his first ever tour of America, being on Robin's TV show Mork and Mindy, and performing at the Comedy Store with Richard Pryor. Comedy nerds rejoice.
