Dominican-ish

Dominican-ish is about claiming who you are despite who you are expected to be. Join me while I sit and talk shit with the people in my life about culture and identity within the realm of topics like sex, relationships, race, religion, personal experiences and more-ish. On this episode we learn that white girl Ashley has learned NOTHING about our culture by being in a relationship with her Dominican boyfriend, Jeison. We also learn (13:30) that Ashley’s dad is in the sunken place. (15:00) We all agree that if we want our kids to have any kind of culture they must be raised by our parents. And Jeison points out that (16:45) there are no noticeable differences between the girls he dated, women are all crazy no matter what race they are. And of course we end the episode with my favorite topic of discussion, sex, and Ashley’s differences between having sex with a white guy vs a black guy.
