Watching My Stories

Happy New Year!   We start the new year with just a few new TV shows and some older movies.  First, Dhani talks about watching The Oath with Ike Barinholtz.  She liked the content, even though it wasn't as funny as she thought it would be.   Next, she discusses a very heavy movie called Beautiful Boy.  This film deals with drug addiction and the toll it takes on the addict as well as the family.  Very well done and important viewing.   Next, John has caught up on some older movies, so he talks about his thoughts on Life Of The Party, Black Panther, and Game Night.   Moving on to TV, Dhani talks about the final season of A Series of Unfortunate Events on Netflix.  She loves this entire series and explains why.  The topic of discussion is a surprise joy to both Dhani and John and that is the show The Masked Singer.  They are both shocked at their interest and enjoyment of this show! Quickly, Dhani discusses the two major categories of the Golden Globes, Best Picture - Drama, and Best Picture - Comedy or Musical
