55: Why Feeling Heavy May Have Nothing To Do With Food

I wanted to tell you that you might feel heavy sometimes, mama. And that when you feel that way, your natural reaction might be to immediately go to.... I need to workout more. I need to skip carbs today. I should try and lose some weight. We woman like to go to that place easily, sometimes, don't we?  Always assuming that when we feel a certain way, we can "fix" it by fixing our size our appearance to fix the feelings we have. Now, while I love a good lifting session, or love a good vegetable alongside something that I'm eating....I also KNOW (trust me, I have years of bullshit unpacked around this topic, lol), that fixing with food and fitness is usually the WORST place to start.   Actually, I don't even like to use the term "fixing."  I'd prefer investigating, coming to terms with, reflecting, leaning in.....definitely prefer those to "fixing."   And that leaning in stuff, well.....the first place to start with those is between our EARS.   And so today, I'm sharing WHY the heavy feeling probably h
