Genesis has a very different account of creation. In Genesis, it is the spirit of the one God who orders creation. Over the seven days of creation in Genesis, God makes seven speeches. The final one ordains the Sabbath as the holy day. The writer of Genesis deliberately uses language that would be used by a king.
