As a sport, the attention rugby gets isvery minimal – this, of course, could be my own ignorance talking, but it's a perception borne by many judging from the numerous encounters with other Zambians home and abroad since childhood. Why is that? Where is Zambia currently and what will it take to bring it to the forefront in national sport? We chat with a man who has been at the centre of Zambian rugby his whole life, from playing on the fields of Chifubu at age 15 to leading the national team as coach - here is Mr Tobie Nyathi’s story.
