Brian Sheffey has expertise in Genetic Genealogy, mid-Atlantic & Southern genealogical research, with an emphasis on the intersection of white, black, and Native American genealogy. He has used his research knowledge to solve cases of unknown parentage from Colonial America to the present day utilizing DNA and paper trail evidence. He has deep ancestral roots in colonial Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina,  as well as the early Kentucky and Tennessee territories.
