St Valpurga is the 5th of 6 saints from an English family who lived in the 700’s. Daughter of Ss. Wuna and Richard of Wessex, niece of St. Boniface and sister of Ss. Winebald and Willibald. St Valpurga due to the depth of her learning is credited by some as the first female writer from England AND Germany!
