Encounters With The Good People

When you think of Faerie fairs or markets, your mind most likely turns to glorious colourful painting or illustration depicting an idyllic scene of various faerie characters browsing baskets of fruit or platters of cakes, musicians and dancers scattered about. It's a lovely image, isn’t it? On this week’s episode, we discover that Faerie do gather for markets, but they are less whimsy than you might imagine. There are many recorded accounts which show us that not only do the Good People hold their own markets, but they also take a keen interest in our own human markets and fairs too.
