Game For A Movie

It's been awhile but we finally had part of our podcast team in person! Andre, Jill and Mike were able to meet in person. They were also able to catch Mitchell on the phone from the laundromat. This episode was all about director debuts! The first film available for certain directors. Mitchell was able to find Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench, this coming from Damien Chazelle. Andre has seen Ex Machina before but used this as an excuse to watch Alex Garland's first. Mel Brooks' first was The Producers which is what Jill watched. Sam Mendes' 1917 was one of Mike's favorites this past award season so he went back to watch American Beauty which was very uncomfortable viewing, even though it was good!Got an idea for the next episode?
