Empaths and Narcissists have a magnetic connection and this is why it is so important for the empath to have solid boundaries, which many don't even know they need. Without solid boundaries, the empath will always fall prey to a narcissist.  Add gaslighting to this scenario and the empath is in a tailspin.  I work with many people who are empaths or highly sensitive people.
